Nicole El Haddad
Nicole is a marine scientist with a focus on marine mammal bioacoustics, working at the intersection of conservation science and animal behavior. She participated in several marine conservation programs in remote areas, with experience in marine mammals, coral restoration, and sea turtle nesting and rehabilitation.
Currently part of SEASOUNDS doctoral network, pursuing a PhD at Aarhus University (Denmark) on underwater noise pollution. Her research focuses on linking real acoustic recordings from non-invasive tags placed on marine mammals with predictive sound models to better understand and measure the impact of human-generated noise on ocean ecosystems.
